Advent 3 - Relationship to Creation
Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low... Luke 3
The texts and hymns of his season remind us that the true light's coming is an earthly event.
"Let the valleys rise in meeting and the hills bow down in greeting"
"And the mountains in reply; Echo back their joyous strains"
"Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone"
If we let it, God's creation can help us slow down and ready ourselves for the true light's coming.
